Pet Portrait Commission

IMG_6776.JPG

They’re not just pets. They’re family.

Special Companions

A custom pet portrait is a heartfelt way to celebrate their

love, their loyalty, and the joy they brought into your life.

Because Every Pet Leaves a Legacy

Whether your companion is still by your side or has crossed the rainbow bridge, their love leaves a mark on your heart. Together,

we can celebrate that bond through a custom portrait that captures their spirit, quirks, and personality in every brushstroke. This isn’t

just a painting it’s a tribute, a memory, and a heartfelt keepsake meant to be cherished for years to come. I pour love and intention

into every piece, to bring your pet’s essence to life whether it’s the sparkle in their eyes, the tilt of their head, or the joy they gave you every day. Let me help you honor the love that never fades. Your pet’s story deserves to be seen, remembered, and forever held in art.

Process
of Booking

I've listed the usual steps I follow for

commissioned paintings here. Feel free to

read through the details, and if you have any

questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Order Form & Email

Kindly fill out the Order Form to place your

commission request. The more details you can provide,

the better I can give you an accurate quotation right away.

You’ll receive a follow-up email with your price quote and

other important commission details. I’m excited to work with you!

2

Deposit & Details

Once you’re happy with the price quotation,

a 50% downpayment is required. This deposit secures

your slot and covers the creation of the initial draft.

At this stage, you may also share any additional photos

or details that could help guide the painting process.

3

Draft & Full Payment

When it’s your turn, I’ll put together a mock-up using your photos.

Once you’re happy with the mock-up and give me your

approval, the remaining balance will be settled before I start

painting. For your convenience, I accept Bank Transfer and GCash.

4

Completion & Shipping

Once your portrait is complete, I’ll ship it to you safely. For Metro

Manila orders, we can use same-day delivery options. For areas outside

the Metro, I’ll book the shipment through a trusted courier like J&T or

LBC. I’ll share the tracking details with you so you can follow your

package. Please note that shipping fees will be shouldered by the client.

Oil or Pastel? Here's What You Need to Know

Discover the key differences between oil and soft pastel paintings,

so you can choose the perfect style for your custom portrait. From

texture and finish to longevity and care, we break it down for you.

Archival Quality
PASTEL
Archival when made with professional-quality
materials. Soft pastels contain pure pigments and
can last for generations when framed properly.
OIL
Very high, especially with quality oil
paintsand proper primed canvas or
board. Can last centuries.
Lightfastness

Excellent lightfastness, especially with

artist-grade soft pastels. They use the

same high-quality pigments as oil paint.

Most professional-grade oil paints have excellent lightfastness. Some pigments may fade, but brands usually label them.
Vulnerability to Environment

Soft pastels are delicate in nature, but

when framed under glass and kept dry, they

stay vibrant for decades. Many museums

display pastel works from the 1800s!

Sensitive to heat, humidity, and cracking if not dried properly or if painted too thick ("fat over lean" rule not followed).
Surface Durability

Because of their powdery texture,

soft pastels are best protected behind

glass. With proper framing, the artwork

remains crisp and detailed for life.

Once dry and varnished, oil
paintings are very durable and can be cleaned/restored even after decades.
Framing/Protection

Must be framed under glass, but this

adds a museum-quality finish. A pastel

work, when properly mounted and sealed, becomes a timeless, gallery-ready piece.

Varnish acts as a long-term
protective layer. Needs to dry fully first (takes months). Framing is optional.
Framing/Protection

Can last centuries! Famous pastel portraits from the 18th and 19th centuries are still vibrant today, proof that soft pastel is just as enduring when well cared for.

Can last 500+ years if stored
well. Used in Old Master
paintings still in museums today.
